often, it is time to switch to a big battery smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch SuperAMOLED touchscreen with
1920x1080p resolution and 441ppi pixel density and is powered by a
2,600mAh battery. The phone is available in two variants - one with a
1.6GHz eight-core processor and the other with a 1.9GHz quad-core
processor. It comes in 16, 32 and 64GB versions, with microSD card
support up to 64GB, and 2GB RAM.
Connectivity features of this phone include 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, NFC,
Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. This phone also had a 1.9MP front-facing
camera and a 13MP rear unit with LED flash. Its official price in India
is Rs 41,500.
LG Optimus G Pro
Running on a 3,140mAh battery, LG Optimus G Pro is the current flagship
smartphone of the Korean manufacturer and is slated to hit India in the
second half of the year. This device features a 5.5-inch IPS display
with 1920x1080p resolution and 401ppi pixel density. Under the hood,
this handset packs a 1.7GHz processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and comes
with 32GB internal storage and microSD support up to 32GB.
For imaging, a 13MP camera with LED flash has been strapped to the back
of this smartphone, whereas a 2.1-inch unit is placed in front. It runs
on
Android
4.1 (Jelly Bean) and has connectivity options like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, microUSB 2.0 and Infrared. The phone comes with

Huawei Ascend D2
Huawei Ascend D2 has a 5-inch screen with 1920x1080p resolution, pixel
density of 441ppi and a 3,000mAh battery. The device runs on

4.1 (Jelly Bean) and features 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM.
The phone comes with 32GB of onboard storage, but does not support
microSD card for memory expansion.
Connectivity features of Huawei Ascend D2 are Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, Bluetooth
4.0 and microUSB. The smartphone has a 13MP auto-focus camera with LED
flash in the front and a 1.3MP secondary snapper. The device is listed
on Huawei's India website as an upcoming model but can be purchased from
eBay for Rs 48,000.

Samsung Galaxy Note II has a 5.5-inch SuperAMOLED touchscreen with 1280p resolution and 267ppi pixel density. It runs on

4.1 (Jelly Bean), is powered by a 3,100mAh battery and has a 1.6GHz
quad-core processor with 2GB RAM under the hood. This phone is available
in 16, 32 and 64GB variants that also support microSD expansion up to
64GB.
For imaging, Samsung has used an 8MP primary camera with LED flash in
the phone, whereas the secondary unit boasts of 1.9MP resolution. Users
can access the internet over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi in this phone, while files
and other data can be transferred via NFC, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth
4.0. It is officially priced at Rs 37,380 in India.
Salora PowerMaxx
Salora International entered the smartphone fray in January this year
with its PowerMaxx, which features a 3,200mAh battery. The device
features a 4.5-inch IPS screen with 960x540p resolution and runs on
Android
4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is powered by a dual-core 1GHz CPU and
comes with 512MB RAM, along with 4GB internal storage and microSD
expansion up to 32GB.
Priced at Rs 15,999, this smartphone has connectivity features like 2G,
3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB. It has an 8MP camera on the back and a
1.3MP camera in front. The company claims its Zero Gap Air technology
ensures that the glass screen remains free of fingerprints and
scratches.
Huawei Ascend Mate
Huawei made a splash at CES 2013 with Ascend Mate, a smartphone that
makes the gigantic Samsung Galaxy Note II appear small. The highlighting
features of the smartphone are its mammoth 6.1-inch IPS touchscreen
(with 1280x720p resolution and 241ppi pixel density) and battery of
4,050mAh capacity. This handset is said to be coming to India in June at
a price of tag of approximately Rs 30,000.

Karbonn A30's highlighting feature is its 5.9-inch TFT display, which is

battery. This smartphone, priced at Rs 10,990, has a 1GHz dual-core
processor and runs on
Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The device has an 8MP camera with LED flash on the rear and a 1.3MP snapper in the front.
Coming to connectivity, Karbonn A30 can access the internet over Wi-Fi,
3G and 2G, while files can be transferred via Bluetooth and microUSB.
The dual-sim phone supports microSD card having capacity up to 32GB and
comes with built-in KingSoft Office productivity suite.
Micromax A80 Infinity
Dual-sim smartphone Micromax A80 Superfone Infinity's biggest USP is its
2,500 mAh battery, along with virtual assistant Aisha. Superfone A80
Infinity sports a 3.75-inch TFT touchscreen and runs on
Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The phone has a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing camera.
The phone has 256MB RAM, offers microSD support up to 32GB and comes
only in black colour. Available in the market at Rs 5,999 now, this
phone has connectivity features like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and
microUSB 2.0.
Lenovo Ideaphone P700i
The recently launched Lenovo Ideaphone P700i comes with a 4-inch IPS
screen with 800x480 pixel resolution and runs on a 2,500mAh battery.
This device is powered by

hood. This phone has 512MB RAM, features 4GB of onboard storage and
microSD expansion up to 32GB.
